Steampunk Round Leather bag/box
This can be used as a box for bits and pieces or attach the chain and it can become a bag. Attach the chain aon different places to make the handle long or short.
Oh boy, I had to get all of my cutting tools out to make this. So many pieces and some so small and detailed. This bag took weeks to finish because of all the cutting and then dying, polishing then putting all the pieces on the outside of the bag. The process of closing the bag up was not so time consuming but I still had to make sure that it turned out round. The end product turned out better than expected and what a great size too.
To give it more of a steampunk look I gave more of a motley look than an all over cover look.
Made with vegetable 100% tanned leather, sewn together with waxed thread and double needles. Water based dye and lots of dubbin polish.
