Rough Citrine: rustic stone pendant on copper-coloured chain
This necklace features a beautifully rough chunk of yellow citrine, wrapped simply with copper wire. It is hung on an antiqued-copper coloured, curb style chain.
The necklace is reversible, and, since the pendant is asymmetrical, each side shows a different face of rough-cut, translucent citrine, bound by a few irregular wraps of copper wire. The colour of this particular stone is gradated: golden yellow at the top, fading to white at the pointed bottom.
This necklace is a one-off design, never to be repeated. The lobster-claw clasp can be clipped to any point on the chain, making this necklace easily adjustable.
The chain measures 49.5cm, including the clasp, while the pendant measures 20mm across. Total length of the pendant, including the wire-wrapped baile (hanging loop), is 40mm.
