The Bizarre Bra
A sad day when our Clarice Cliff plate fell over and broke.
It was a treasured object as it was hand-painted with the Autumn Crocus design
from her Bizarre Bazaar Deco range.
I was inspired to include these shards along with other antique plates to create a mosaic art work.
The armature was sculpted in clay, bisque fired, and the hanging loops securely imbedded into the structure.
I use cement adhesive, with a grout finish. Easy to hang using a large picture hook.
Weight: 1.8 kg
dimensions: 20 x 32 cm + hanging wire 8 cm. Sits 12 cm out from a wall.
