"Footprints in the Sand" from the Coastal series

There is just something about being the first one down at the beach in the mornings and the first to make your mark with your footprints.
I love a clean slate, (so to speak) to walk on and then to look back and see where ive been.
Sometimes I return the same way to find the waves have already been and washed all evidence of me away.

My daughters and I also enjoy interpreting the footprints.
From BIG dog prints to little dog prints that hardly make an impression.
The bird claw prints that disappear into the surf.
The smaller childs prints dragging a stick behind them.
The bare foot prints and the shoed ones.
They all tell a story of people and animals coming and enjoying the shore
