'Spring Rest' - original drawing
The harakeke flax are in bloom and the tui are out feasting! I've drawn this one taking a rest on a flax branch. I love hearing the swoosh of tui as they fly overhead and then watching them as they alight nearby. They're always so swift, alert and aware and when the flowers are out they seem to be at their busiest.
Tui have a special place in my heart and I just can't stop drawing and painting them! I have other tui prints available but this is currently my only original tui drawing. No prints have been made so it will always be a one-of-a-kind.
