Retro Telly's
In a time long before smart tv's, even flat tv's, we had another member of the family, as their presence in the lounge took up the same amount of space. The Telly. Phillips K9 for may, with it's huge speaker across the bottom and simple channel buttons and volume control.. How simple life was. So simple, the aerial, aka, 'Bunny Ears', sat on top of the box, to adjust the picture on screen, no auto tuning, just a wee nudge of the bunny ears, but not too far, or you'd have a screen of snow or flickering picture.
As for the striped image in these earrings, well, there was no such thing as 24hr tv. The Test pattern filled the screen, a sign programmes weren't far away...Play School with Big Ted & Humpty, from memory.
Those were the days.
