My mother bought me a bunch of sweet-smelling violets today and I was immediately transported back to my childhood.
We had a bank of wildflowers where violets grew profusely.
I would often be out picking some to put in a vase in my bedroom. '

This particular curly driftwood is from the twisted gum tree and makes for a great hanger!
