I was watching a movie recently that was set in the 1970's. One of the characters was wearing a rainbow striped jersey. It reminded me of a jersey that my mother knitted for me in 1977. Black with rainbow stripes, which lead me to thinking of my own journey into adulthood that started the first time I wore it.
Some people chase rainbows, looking or hoping for something better.
The fun of trying to find the source of one mysteriously appearing on a wall.
For some it is a symbol of identity.
