Antique Etched Eye Plate & Red Glass Steampunk Ring

The focal of this Steampunk inspired ring is a sought after etched pocket watch 'eye' plate, 15 x 25 x 2mm thick. The silver plate is 80-100 years old and has machine engraving known as guilloché, very subtle but lovely when the ring catches the light.

The paisley shaped plate is mounted with an artisan made lampglass spiral cabochon in fire red with flashes of orange, 8mm diameter.

The ring has an adjustable silver plated 9mm wide base with a softly hammered finish - the expander is hidden behind the watch movement. The ring is a size 7 with a 5mm adjustable overlap which will expand the ring to a size 9.5 - 10.
