Cashmere Silk Merino Patterned Scarf.

For lovers of black and white pattern and tweed effects. The full length of this luxurious piece is knitted together with a fine layers of fluffy silk cashmere and merino. It is quite thick and sumptuously soft and very warm. It can be worn as a stand out statement accessory looking fabulous tied up as a big bow or cravat at the neck, see photos for ideas. Worn over a plan warm layer or at the neck of a jacket it will dress up any outfit this winter.

Pattern was inspired by proportions of black and white found in nature and influenced by the work of Canadian weaver Mackenzie Kelly-Frere who's pattern for weave is shown in my inspirations.

I created a simple graphic of my own then changed it manually in and out of negative as I was knitting to create tiny changes in colour proportion.
All patterns for my designs are my own, drawn by hand. Each knitted row is hand propelled and I make changes as I go a bit like a painter adding into their work. All casting on, off and sewing in ends is done by my hand also.
Approximately 184cm long and 25cm wide. This scarf is hand washable in cool water and can be steam ironed.
