Stained Glass Fantail

This wee delight was a pleasure to create. Inspired by the New Zealand native bird, Piwakawaka, it's made using opaque glass in caramel and black and white hues.
It's created using the Tiffany method of construction. Each piece of glass has been hand cut, smoothed and copper-foiled then soldered together using 60/40 lead tin solder which has been stained with a black patina. The hanging loop is created from Tiger Tail wire.
Measures 9cm in length (excluding the hanging wire) and 7.5cm in width. Full length including the hanging loop is 22cm.
Super-packed in a polystyrene and bubble-wrap sandwich, this can be delivered anywhere within NZ as well as anywhere on the planet. Any question just ask!
