Turquoise Lotus & Mehndi Earrings

Turquoise Lotus & Mehndi Earrings, created using genuine Turquoise beads that I salvaged from a vintage necklace which had seen better days. No imitations here, these stones are the real deal. The Turquoise gemstones measure 6mm in diameter and are accompanied by silver-plated pewter coin beads. These double-sided beads have a different flowering lotus on each side and can be turned around to display either design.

For an extra pop of colour, I've strung the beads on ecofriendly Softflex dark blue wire and accented the silver-plated mehndi charms by painting the back of them with a turquoise metal patina. These details can be seen in the third and fourth photos, which show what they look like from the back. To complete the earrings, I've finished them with 925 Sterling silver wire hooks.

Each piece of jewellery that I create is unique and often one-of-a-kind, though, sometimes I make items in small limited numbers. All of the jewellery comes presented in a gift box and includes a hand-written crystal properties information card.
