Japanese Vintage Silk Kimono Obi to be transformed into this one of a kind bag.
Obi is a sash belt worn with kimono and they are made from premium quality woven textile. This type of obi was originally made to wear on celebratory occasions such as the weddings. I used only the most luxurious pattern parts of the obi for all outside of the bag. Please enjoy the luxurious beauty of obi fully with this bag.
You can use it in your daily life as a toto bag and of course for your special occasions as a smart clutch bag.

Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are imported from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from 1950s and before. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes, colour fade, old smell etc. but they have incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have. I hope you enjoy and love the beauty of vintage kimono silks including their histories to be embraced.
