All proceeds will go to Ukrainian refugees affected by the war.
The fundraiser is a Ukrainian with family in Ukraine and those who fled out of Ukraine. This fund will be sent directly to people on the ground, both family members who need shelter and those organising and supporting refugees to find shelter in the west of Ukraine, my home town Mukachevo, where many refugees are fleeing from the east of Ukraine.
DESCRIPTION:
This one-of-a-kind hanging planter has a draining platform and an attached catcher underneath to allow the soil of hanging plants to drain.
Specifications:
The planter hangs on a leather string. The size is approximately 12cm high and 12cm in diameter.
Making process:
This planter was hand thrown on a potter's wheel in two parts, trimmed, then the parts were attached together to create a draining platform on the bottom, and draining holes were cut out in the top pot. The planter was then fired, sanded, glazed, and fired once more.
I make every piece with care and consideration and aim for each piece to be beautiful, functional, and durable!
The pot and its glaze colors are guaranteed to last a lifetime (and beyond).
Why?
I couldn't find a planter with drainage so I made my own :) I use them and am making them in small batches for others.
