Classic Castile Soap
Castile soap is said to have originated in the Castile region of Spain in the mid-1500s. Made with the three traditional ingredients of olive oil, water and lye the soap is a pale creamy colour. Castile soap has a lighter, creamier lather compared to soaps made with a greater variety of vegetable oils, but it is both a very gentle soap and an effective cleanser.
Our Classic Castile Soap is cured for at least 12 months. The long curing time means it is a very mild soap suitable for most skin types.
It is also excellent for use in homemade cleaning products.
Please note that Classic Castile is a little smaller than our standard bars.
Ingredients: Olive Oil, Water, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye)
Each bar weighs 90-95g
SHIPPING - Up to 4 items can be shipped together for the same shipping cost.
