The 'Kitschen' range from Lola & Alice has the perfect selection of cooking related utensil, and now baking pan earrings. (rolling pins, whisks, cook books, measuring spoons, jugs, mixers..frying pans...)

The newest item to our popular Kitschen range. The miniature Bundt Pan.
A cake with a long and interesting history. With the Bundt shaped cake a staple throughout Central Europe and also known as; Kugelhupf, Guglhupf, Gugelhopf, and, in France, kouglof, kougelhof, or kougelhopf. It was not until David Dalquist, an aluminium cast manufacturer, had a request from a group of ladies in 1949, that it became an American baking cupboard staple. The ladies wanted a tin to make the cake their European Grandmother used to make. It was used, they said, to make Bundkuchens, party or "gathering" cakes. Thus the Bundt pan was born. Two out three American homes are said to own one.

For Kiwi's, this seems quite an exotic type of baking pan. Quite the step up from the standard 20 cm ring pan. A bit flash. So we'll go one step further and make it our own, and hang miniatures from our ears. Why? Because we can.

Bundt pans are approx 23mm, hanging from stainless steel hooks
