This work was kindly donated by this wonderful artist. The proceeds will go to Ukrainian refugees affected by the war.
The fundraiser is a Ukrainian with family in Ukraine and those who fled out of Ukraine. This fund will be sent directly to people on the ground, both family members who need shelter and those organising and supporting refugees to find shelter in the west of Ukraine, my home town Mukachevo, where many refugees are fleeing from the east of Ukraine.
DESCRIPTION:
This decanter was hand thrown on a potter's wheel, the lip and handle were hand-built in.
This wine decanter was made with care and is a one-off piece.
Fits 800 milliliters of liquid (or just over a standard bottle of wine).
Has an ancient Mediterranian form and feel. It was built with dark red-bodied clay, the interior glaze is a light pale blue/white matt finish applied thinly with the colour of the clay showing through and matched with the exterior finish.
Food safe, dishwasher safe (but for longevity recommended to wash by hand)
