Silk Kowhai earrings
Flower is 27 mm long, gold plated sterling silver. 23 mm hooks. New to Felt but I've been selling at art galleries for quite a while. I do not write down my patterns so there is always differences between pieces. All pieces come in a gift box with descriptive card.
Silk is hand dyed artisan product from Japan. I do not coat this fibre but stiffen internally with stainless steel or nylon thread. The colours of the naturally dyed silk are different from cotton thread. This thread is from a kimono workshop shutdown and no longer made. I have spent years developing my techniques and designs.
