Art Deco hanging planter with a draining platform

An improved design of the hanging planter - it is ceramic and is also hand glazed.
The finish on this pot is brown, honey and pink.

This planter was thrown on a wheel before it was cut around the bottom for a draining platform to be built in.
Then it was fired, glazed, and fired once more. The planter is hung on a meter-long leather string (jute twine is an alternative option - please let me know your preference).

The size is approximately 10cm tall and 13cm in diameter.

I couldn't find a planter with drainage so I made my own, I use them and am making them now for you to enjoy too.

Every piece is made with care and consideration.
