Mt. Cook

This print is inspired by my love of Mt. Cook and the Hooker Valley track. The hut featured in this print is from an old photo of mine from the 2000's, the current hut has recently undergone some renovations after it was damaged by flooding in 2015.

Blue Linocut pint of Mt. Cook in the Aoraki National Park. The print is printed onto an A4 sized piece of white textured card, 200gsm.

Each print is handmade using the linocut technique which is a relief print that uses linoleum as the surface into which the design is cut and printed from. Each print is craved, inked and pressed by hand. Water based inks are used on each design which may smudge or run if they come into contact with water.

Prints will be shipped in a New Zealand Post bag for safety. All New Zealand Post bags automatically come with a tracking number which will be provided to you. Shipping may take 2-4 business days, or longer if being shipped to a rural address. Free collection from me is available if you are in the Wellington Region.
