Kawakawa is a super plant. It is prized for its peppery taste in cooking, its medicinal properties in traditional remedies and its stunning heart shaped foliage.

"Kawakawa" is a limited edition woodcut print by Katie Russell. The design is carved in mirror image into plywood. It is then inked by hand using a brayer and printed by Katie using an etching press. Due to the handmade nature of the process subtle variations can occur between each impression.

This print is a limited edition of 20 signed by the artist and printed on kitakata: a quality 36gsm washi paper handmade in Japan.
Each print measures 215mm x 265mm, and has a natural deckle edge.

All prints are packaged in a protective sleeve with a cardboard backing, and posted in a cardboard mailing envelope.
