That joyous, jingly time when war god Odin, among others, was rumoured to abduct the half-awake to join the ‘wild hunt’ - a raving ramble to the fairy kingdom - to celebrate frenzy, poetry, sorcery and battle.
Hmmm. It’s beginning to sound a lot like Christmas.
This Dhoop is about gathering your strength. (Yule need it!*)
It’s no accident that most of the aromatic ingredients of Yule-Odin share the emotional attribute of strengthening and love (don’t overlook love).
The unique summer scent of ‘slowly dying pine tree in a bucket’ mingles beautifully with traditional fragrances of baking - clove and star anise - to create a spicy, intense, rich smoke.
So this silly season, armour up, find your inner war god and strengthen your existence against the frenzy!
These burn down in about 15-20 minutes, just enough time for you to Pause, Breath, and Smile.
