New Zealand Paua Shell & sterling silver earrings

New Zealand Paua shell shaped by hand into these leafy designs with a sterling silver spear that hangs down the centre.
Paua is known for it's vibrant colours and is sometimes called 'Sea Opal'. I collect the shells from the Kaikoura coast of NZ's South Island, where the Southern Alps meet the Pacific Ocean. I have Shaped & polished these by hand to bring out their natural gleam, the backs are natural shell like a treasure you might find on the Sea shore.
They are a bright pearly blue & green colour with hints of pink.
Earring hooks are a quality Sterling silver.
They measure 1.75 inches or 4.5cm form the top of the earring hook.
Earrings will be sent in a gift pouch with a descriptive card, ready for giving or treating yourself.
I use courier post which usually takes 2-3 days to arrive within NZ. Overseas parcels are sent with DHL and can take 1-2 weeks to arrive. I take care to wrap all parcels safely.
