Persistent Acorn earrings in dark brown on short or long ear-hooks

These sturdy little acorns have antiqued brass caps, and are made of faceted, firepolished Czech glass beads. Czech glass is famous worldwide for its high quality. Firepolishing is a technique whereby the beads are 'polished' by subjecting them to a very hot flame, creating a bright, shiny surface. Firepolished glass sparkles almost like crystal. These glass beads are in a deep, very dark brown called 'smoky topaz'.

If you have ever planted an acorn and watched as it grew into a little sprout, then into a weak sapling, and finally a strong young tree will be aware of the incredible power that such a tiny thing possesses. Every massive, staunch oak tree began as a small, ineffectual acorn. The 'Persistent Acorn' earrings with short hooks measure 37mm from top to bottom. With long ear-wires, they measure 53mm from top to bottom. The 'tiny but potent' acorn dangles are 21mm tall, including the wire-wrapped baile (hanging loop), and 13mm wide.
