Ceramic Glazed Earrings -Blue Star

These original handmade Ceramic earrings have wonderful details. They are unique and you wont find anything else like it!
They feature a impressed star snowflake design, with a clear glossy crackle glaze over a deep blue distressed underglaze. They are unglazed on the back, and attached to Stirling Silver Hoops. The little circles are approx 15 mm (half an inch) across. The blue is slightly darker than image shown.
Mudbird Ceramic Ware is perfect as an original gift. Each piece is hand cut from NZ White Clay, then stamped/impressed using a mixture of new & antique textures, stamps woodblocks & found objects. After drying & smoothing they are fired once, under-glazed then fired again. There are over 9 processes involved, even in something this small.
This makes the perfect gift, and will arrive beautifully wrapped.
