A colourful rainbow is a great reminder of resilience and beauty in tough times, having a variety of special meanings for individual people.
This indoor specimen is created using the Tiffany method of construction. Each piece of glass has been hand cut, smoothed and copper-foiled then soldered together using 60/40 lead tin solder.
The clouds are made from reclaimed door glass; a type which is no longer being made. The heavy texture really makes it sparkle when the light shines directly through it.
Measures 25cm in length including the hanging tiger-tail wire and 13.5cm in width.
This piece makes a special keepsake for yourself or a lovely gift for someone special.
