The focal of this Steampunk inspired necklace is a sought after American Elgin vintage watch movement, 34mm across in time-darkened silver. The movement is 80-120 years old and has elegant geometric engraving typical of the era.
The movement is mounted with a Carnelian stone cabochon set into a bezel cup fashioned from a vintage watch part. The glossy mandarin orange stone has an alluring warm glow which complements the vintage mechanism perfectly.
The chain is a good quality brass in a 5 x 7 mm link which will develop a lovely soft gold patina with handling.
ClosetGothic necklace chains are LONG - this one is 850mm - designed as 'opera length', perfect with long line tops and knitwea and a perfect length for men to wear too.
