Naked ladies duo based on old retro playing cards.
Reworked vintage English plates with old marks 40s maybe. One has a blue willow style border the other embossed cream dinnerware.
Both have flaws- chips to the rear so save $20!
Drawings have the addition of ceramic pencil along with my regular medium porcelain paint.
This is a two part process and the result is like a sketch with more detail.
A fixative of clear porcelain paint is applied which yellows as it bakes creating a sepia tone.
These plates are safe for food but are intended as artworks for display.
Hand wash gently to clean.
