Black Obsidian Arrow Head Pendant

Black Obsidian arrow head pendant necklace with black Onyx beads and Blue Lapis crystal on an adjustable waxed cord.

The black Obsidian arrow head has been mounted onto the adjustable waxed cord using an epoxy clay arrow stem that includes an embedded Blue Lapis crystal. The arrow has been completed using artificial sinew (light cream tie in colour) and a black Onyx crystal bead on the cord each side.

The adjustable neck cord has been created using waxed cord that is used in most New Zealand Maori neckties on items such as bone carvings or pounamu (Greenstone). The ends of the cord are tied using slip knots so that cord length can be adjusted to fit the wearer.

All components in this necklace are separate and have been put together by hand to complete this unique one-of-a-kind pendant.

Maximum length of cord when worn is 40 cm. Black Obsidian Arrow pendant length is 4 cm and 2 cm wide.
