This beautiful poncho is made from Vintage silk kimono from 1950s. Gorgeous crane pattern in iincredibly beautiful royal blue.
You would be surprised with how light and warm the kimono silk poncho is. Kimono silk is not only incredibly beautiful but also super functional fabric, which is the most gentle to our skin and it has excellent moisture absorption and thermal function.
Not to mention, ponchoes are easy to wear all year round and every girl needs a nice poncho!

Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are impoirted from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from 1950s and before. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes and colour fade etc. but they have incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have. I hope you enjoy and love the beauty of vintage kimono silks including their histories to be embraced.
