Paua Shell Pendant Necklace
Naturally bright and vibrant New Zealand Paua (Abalone) shell pendant necklace on a velvet leather cord embellished with hand painted embossed metal leaves and a small glass crystal.
The Paua shell has been mounted onto the leather cord using a brass wire turned bail. The paua piece has been completed with hand painted metal leaves that are secured to the pendant using epoxy clay. The piece has been finished off with a small glass crystal at the bottom of the leaves imitating a water droplet hanging from the bottom leaf.
The main colours in this shell piece are pink and green with a hint of purple, blue and yellow.
The neck cord is velvet leather that is completed with silver coil ends with a silver plated chain extension and silver lobster clasp for easy wearing.
All components in this necklace are separate and have been put together by hand to complete this 'nature inspired' one of a kind piece.
Maximum length of cord when worn is 25 cm. Paua pendant length is 6 cm and 2 cm wide. Overall length of necklace when worn is 31 cm.
