'Chester' - another of our "Softies with Attitude"!
Lovely traditional hand made fully jointed teddy bear using quality artificial fur! Chester is a solid dependable bear who will just enjoy being part of your life.
Chester is a one-off original design hand crafted by me in my Auckland studio.
He has safety eyes and has been stuffed with a combination of poly fill and plastic pellets (for weight) and has a lovely weighted squishy feel. Complete with his double bow.
He is 41cm tall.
My teddy bears are all made by me using patterns I have designed myself.
I have been making and designing collectors bears for 30 years and have designed soft toys for several leading international companies.
I take great pride in the finishing and face trimming of each collectors piece to get the expression "just right'.
This special heirloom bear is made to be a companion for life.
ARE MY BEARS FOR YOUNG CHILDREN?
Sorry - no. Because they contain pellets we do not recommend them for children under 5 years old.
I find my bears are sold mainly to older children or adult collectors who don't tend to chew on them!
CARE
As bears don't like baths, we recommend a light vacuum occasionally. He might smile as he is ticklish.
If your bear has been very naughty and dribbled something on himself then a light surface sponge with warm soapy water will do the trick.
