This listing is for a digital download PDF Project Pattern AND the yarns you need to weave a set of soft and beautiful cotton washcloths. (Please note you won't receive the finished washcloths, just the yarns and pattern to weave your own) This project pack makes 6 washcloths that are approximately 25cm wide by 28cm long.

I like using these as facecloths or spa/bath cloths. I also gift them to friends/family with a pretty bar of natural handmade soap. Others use them as practical washing-up cloths in the kitchen. I also know of a youngster who loves it as a mini comfort 'blankie'.

It makes me happy to know they are handmade with love I especially enjoy weaving with these fun colour combinations and soft natural fibres.

This pattern is suitable for beginners but you should already be familiar with how to set up a warp and how to weave on your own loom.

- Warp yarns - 160grams of 4 Ply Cotton in various colours.
- Weft Yarns: 80g 4 ply cotton in various colours (wound onto bobbins- you can use any leftover warp yarns after when you have set up the loom.) Plus 10g of 2 ply/Lace weight crochet cotton in watermelon pink weft for the hems.
- PDF file digital document of the project pattern which will be emailed to you. The PDF document is 12 pages long and includes instructions and lots of colour photos. You may wish to print it out at home (to save paper, print double sided in 6 sheets A4 paper and press ‘fit to page’ so it all fits within the margins.)

Please check carefully that you have all the following items as well so you can complete this project:

- A Rigid Heddle Loom with a 12.5 dpi heddle. The width of the loom should be able to accommodate at least a 10" width warp.
A 10epi heddle may be suitable but the washcloths will be more open/lightweight and you will need less warp threads. A 9" wide loom will be OK too if you don't mind slightly smaller cloths.

- Warp Peg (or sturdy chair) for stretching out the warp.
- Threading hook
- Scissors
- 2 Clamps
- Tape measure.
- Warp sticks/paper
- Shuttle(s) Stick or Boat - preferably 2 or more.
- Yarn bobbins and winder (if you use boat shuttles)
- A 3.5mm (E-4) Crochet hook if you want to make tabs to hang the washcloths up.
- Sewing Machine for the hems (an overlocker/serger is useful too but not essential)

I'm always happy to help with weaving questions or to advise with yarn choices. Yarns and looms are available online all over the world. Better still...why not ‘support small & love local’ by asking at your nearby yarn store. Just message or email me once you've downloaded the pattern if you need advice.
Happy weaving! K
