LITTLE NESTS A4 ILLUSTRATED ECO-FRIENDLY 2020 NZ MADE CALENDAR

Little Nests is a beautifully illustrated eco-friendly calendar, compiled from original illustrations by Melissa Boardman. Each month features a different illustration depicting a pair of native New Zealand birds at their nest. Each calendar is hand bound using only kraft paper and natural cotton thread, the pages are perforated and tear off when the month is over.

The birds featured range from the loveable Pīwakawaka (Fantail) to the extremely rare Tara Iti (Fairy Tern). The birds were chosen to cover a range of nesting habitats, and were carefully researched to make sure the birds, nests and eggs were correctly represented.

The calendar is practical with enough room for marking your own important reminders, while still looking stylish and uncluttered. This calendar make wonderful gifts to local bird lovers, those who have been to NZ on holiday, and those who now live overseas and miss NZ and our wonderful native birds.

Each calendar is beautifully printed on 100% recycled paper with matte inks and individually hand bound using only paper and cotton twine. (A hanging system I devised myself as a biodegradable eco-friendly alternative to wire binding).
