Mohair Sweater
Mohair sweater from New Zealand yarn. An heirloom piece knitted by me, that is ready to be passed down through generations.
Dress it up with evening gowns or dress it down with high waisted boyfriend jeans.

Mohair, from the Angora goat, is known for its ability to make the wearer feel warm without the weight or the bulkiness. The same diameter mohair is stronger than steel, so it is a very durable, resilient garment, despite the lightness of feel.
As the mohair yarn is smooth (without scales when put under microscope), it is great for sensitive skin. The mohair is known to keep its colour, wash after wash.
Its elasticity makes it resistant to wrinkling, stretching or sagging.

The colour here is Navy Blue.
The neck opening fits up to 62cm (XL head) diameter.
As this is a cropped top version, it will flatter any shape of body.
Model is 163cm tall, 55kg weight, wearing high waisted leggings.

Turtleneck height approximately 10cm (folded once).
The arms are relaxed fit, so it will fit anyone in any shape.
Measurement from neck line to end of garment is approximately 35cm. Sits just above the belly button.
Measurement laid flat from side to side of the body is approximately 60cm. Baggy fit, oversized cropped sweater style.

As they are individually knitted by hand by me, there is always slight variations in the finished piece. However, I work very carefully and slowly (mohair can’t be rushed) to make sure tension variation is minimised.

New Zealand made yarn consisting of 74% Mohair, 24% Wool, 2% Nylon
Shake to remove dust, always hand wash and dry flat completely to return garment to original state.
Store folded, avoid hanging for long period of time.
Natural animal fibres will shed at first but will settle with wear and wash overtime.
