calming manatee

Manatees are large, gentle marine mammals; often referred to as sea cows. Despite their large size they are very graceful swimmers and spend their days gliding slowly through the water; peeking their nostrils out to breathe every now and then. Sadly, manatee numbers are declining and they are an endangered species.

This little manatee is much smaller than his cousins found in the wild. Perfect for fitting in your pocket! He is here to share his calming energy and remind you that everything is okay. (You can find more calming manatees on the website 'calmingmanatee.com'

Each manatee measures approx 10cm from nose to tail. They are hand-made with acrylic yarn, polyfil and plastic safety eyes. The eyes can be embroidered for very young children.
