New Zealand Gemstone beach stone~with Maori koru engraving

A beautiful natural New Zealand beach stone from the famous 'Gemstone beach' on the wild wind swept Southwest coast of New Zealand's South Island. This one is a form of Olivine (semi nephrite), with a lichen green & some olive/yellow coloring. I have engraved it by hand with a Maori koru design to symbolize two spirits growing together as one.
A little piece of NZ treasure or Taonga.

These naturally shaped stones are found along the beaches where they are washed ashore after a long journey down the rivers and tumbled smooth by the pounding waves. This one has been polished in a tumbler and is very smooth & shiny.

Maori believe Greenstone is a peace stone. It brings healing properties of renewal, courage, strength & justice It is known also a heart chakra stone..making it a nice gift for a loved one.

The stone measures 4cm or 1.6 inches long. Hung on a black adjustable cord with slip knots so it can be worn long or short.

This piece will arrive in a black velvet gift bag and I include a hand written card with the healing properties of the stone.

I use NZ Parcel post which usually takes 2-3 days. Overseas parcels are insured and can take 2 weeks to arrive.
