Ecrou Poupee

Mimi thought these dolls looked like acorn dolls and Rufus thought they looked very French, hence the name. Well actually the French translation for acorn was not very appealing so we went with "nut" instead.

These are made for lots of love and hugs and adventures.

Each doll is unique as we don't use any pattern. We start out by making the head and go from there. Everything is hand made even the knitting and crochet elements. The eyes have been embroidered. All the clothes and hair are sewn in place which makes them safe for little ones.

This poupee has a hat knitted with wool and Alpaca, the scarf is made from stretch wool fabric, the dress is cotton and the coat is wool fabric. The legs are made with merino fabric. The face is cotton knit and hair wool. The button is securely sewn.

The doll is 34cm from top of pom pom to toe.
