Hand Crocheted Fanny the Flamingo

Who would not love to see this super sized flexible flamingo in the room? After all, with her bright colours, she is definitely no wall flower.

Fanny the Flamingo is lovingly hand crocheted from my home in Auckland and is made from 100% cotton yarn and filled with polyester hobby fibrefill.

An adult flamingo's legs can be 76-127cm (30-50 inches) long, which is longer than their entire body.

Fanny is 90 cm (3 feet) tall. Her body is 26cm (10 inches) wide. When she does the splits she's 110cm (44 inches) from toe to toe!

Flamingos rest by standing on one leg. The "knee" of the flamingo is actually an ankle joint and the lower leg bends forward from there.

Fanny often stands around the house with her beak sneakily poking into draws, over bannisters and out the window.

Fanny the Flamingo would love to be owned by a little boy or girl who can take her on adventures. With her long legs, she's bound to be able to keep up with you.

Alternatively, she'd feel just at home hanging out with an adult.

Fanny the Flamingo comes from a non-smoking, pet free home.

Fanny is tangerine with red legs but if you'd prefer other colours, just let me know as Fanny can be made in any colour combination you like.

Warning: Not suitable for children under 3 years. Contains small parts. However, I can replace Fanny's safety eyes with yarn eyes to make her safer for children under 3 years.
