This piece is made from sustainably produced Fijian Kauri plywood sandwiching a NZ Pine plywood core. It is sealed and finished in food grade mineral oil and beeswax. The printed side can be used as a serving platter for antipasto or similar, while the plain side can be used as an everyday cutting or chopping board - if you keep your board propped on the Kitchen splashback between use then the printed side is much nicer to look at than the side that the cutting is done on!

It is printed with non-toxic pigment inks that soak into the wood. I can quickly and easily customise the design, including personalising it for wedding or birthday gifts - feel free to ask for a mock up. The Great Wave print was created nearly 200 years ago by the Japanese artist Hokusai.
Wash in hot soapy water and renew oil finish if it starts to look dry.
