BRAND NEW Pattern for a boy who needed Mitts! :D
This is a simple and straightforward pattern knitted in patchwork-like Basket Stitch - it actually makes keeping track of stitches and row number easy! As with most Baby or Toddler items be they Crochet or Knit, these Toddler* Mittens knit up encouragingly quickly AND I am quietly confident that I have worded the pattern in such a way that knitting the thumbs is a breeze! Decreasing and finishing off instructions for shaping the top of the Mitts have also been improved thanks to my frequently consulted knitting troubleshooter GIL (Grandma in law)!
The pattern includes a list of materials including recommended yarn/wool to use, both UK and US needle sizes, common abbreviations, colour pictures of the finished Mittens and even a few ideas for suggested embellishments. Easy to read and follow you'll have these Mittens knitted in a jiffy and be feeling fairly chuffed with yourself to boot - I know I did!
