A pendant light shade hand made in the Bay of Plenty. Crafted from sustainable, plantation grown New Zealand pine, copper pins, bamboo fastening clips and recyclable polyproplene lampholders.
Each piece is hand made by me. I have chosen my materials carefully with sustainability and recycling in mind.
The Braid is made by weaving strips of wood together, creating a form reminiscent of harakeke. When lit, the wood glows from within producing a lovely warm light and showcasing the natural woodgrain.
Each shade is made to order, which takes 2-4 weeks.
Dimensions: 400mm diameter, 180mm tall.
