Lion and Orchids - an A5 limited edition /100 archival quality giclee print

A noble lion is rendered with a couple of beautiful cattleya orchids. It is part of my Flora and Fauna range. Watercolour is a lovely medium to work with as you can create real richness and depth to the colour. This painting was carefully crafted by layering up super subtle shifts of different hues to capture the texture of the lion's mane and colours of the orchids. This listing is for just one unframed print but you can see that they look amazing as a pair.

The original was methodically scanned, altered, then professionally printed using archival inks on Hahnemuhle William Turner 310gms cotton rag paper. This particular paper is just gorgeous, it has the appearance of water-colour paper and has been specifically created for longevity when used with pigmented inks.

It would suit a variety of decor styles including Scandinavian inspired and modern minimalist interior spaces. The print comes sans mount and unframed but this means that you can add your own touch to suit your decor. They come without the watermark.

Your treasure will be shipped to you carefully encased in cellophane (you can put this in your compost) and posted within a sturdy reinforced envelope to prevent it from being damaged in the post.
