This is my newest design - a large interactive magnetic wallscape of 20 separate handmade magnets. My wallscapes are designed to be halfway between art and play as an interactive approach to standard decals; they're stunning as art on any magnetic surface and are infinitely re-arrangeable....

This large wallscape includes:
2 x clouds
6 x raindrops
7 x rainbow bands
1 x hot air balloon
2 x balloon 'patches'
1 x balloon basket
1 x owl

This set is in fairground inspired colours and patterns; a bright, bold contrasting colour palette. I can make yours like this one or to your alternative preferences. If you prefer more subtle colours, see my other listing showing a muted colour theme for the same set.

Each of my wallscapes are designed with interactive components for endless variations. Here are some suggestions for this set: the rainbow pieces can become abstract arrangements (see my separate rainbow listing for suggestive photos), the raindrops are surprisingly flexible - transform them to make a delicate sky flower or a torrential downpour, the balloon has two patches to switch around or pop out, the owl can perch in the balloon basket or on a cloud or even the rainbow. The clouds can even overlap the balloon and the rainbow; this is all designed to enable visual storytelling.

Designed in proportion with my other magnetic wallscapes, would make a stunning mural alongside the tree community (see my other listings), or any of my other designs!

In our home we've painted some walls with patches of magnetic paint (topcoated with wall colour), but these are equally well used on the fridge or any other magnetic surface.

All components of my magnetic wallscapes are handmade from various upcycled, repurposed or vintage materials. For this reason every set is strictly limited edition due to the scarcity of my selected materials.

This set as with all of my wallscapes are designed to ship in a large envelope for economical postage around the world. These are so slim they ship for the price of sending a large letter. Your set will come packaged with an illustration of a suggested arrangement.

HOW THEY STICK TO THE WALL

If you’re interested in using these on a surface other than the kitchen fridge - create a magnetic canvas on any ordinary surface. This is easily done in half a day, but there as a permanent magnetic canvas for years to come!

Resene makes a really good magnetic paint and is readily available around the country.
