Advent calendar: 24 drawstring bags - classic red, white & silver designs (small size)

What better way to count down to Christmas than with personalized gifts in a keepsake Advent calendar?

Fill these 24 fabric drawstring bags with the gifts of your choice, then refill year after year. Stickers, lollies, erasers, toys, crayons; it’s up to you! Why not get the kids to draw or paint a picture of a plain Christmas tree? A few Christmas-themed stickers in each day’s advent calendar bag means that the tree picture can be gradually decorated in the run-up to the big day! I also put Lego in my children’s Advent bags – a few pieces (and a page from the instruction booklet!) each day to build into a complete model during December. Or you could do the same with jigsaw puzzle pieces.

Each set consists of 24 empty bags ready for you to fill with your own special contents. This set has 6 each of 4 classic red, white and silver Christmas designs with matching drawstrings of double-satin ribbon. Each bag is approximately 9.5cm wide x 10.5cm long (excluding the drawstring channel and top cuff) and has a numbered label. The set includes 25 wooden mini pegs (a spare in case you lose one!) and a 1.5m length of ribbon – peg the bags onto the ribbon and hang across a shelf or mantelpiece, or hang the bags directly on your Christmas tree. String them up in order or mix up the bags so the kids have to hunt for the right numbered bag each day! The entire set of bags, pegs and ribbon is carefully packaged in a larger bag, for easy storage from year to year.
