Kotare / Kingfisher - a Native Manu print

Fluffed into her own feathers is a gorgeous wee kotare / kingfisher. It is said that if you see one, then rain is not far away. Rather appropriate for the weather we have just had.
She has been carefully painted using traditional watercolour techniques, subtle washes of cream, ochre, sienna and various hues of Blues and greens have been layered up to create a richness and depth to the colours within the kotare's feathers.

Archival inks on 250gms snow white acid free paper
Signed and dated
It would suit retro, vintage and modern minimalist interior spaces. The print comes unframed but this means that you can add your own touch to suit your decor. They come without the watermark.
Your treasure will be shipped to you carefully encased in cellophane (you can put this in your compost) and posted within a sturdy reinforced envelope to prevent it from being damaged in the post.
