Old watches - beautiful mechanical steampunk marvels, delicate tiny cogs and wheels, lovely geometric shapes, weighty and beautiful to wear. Far too nice to languish in the back of a drawer.
The vintage watch movement on this necklace is 17 x 27mm in size and is a beautiful mechanism layered with steel plates, brass cogs and a perfect tiny dial and needle. A row of the original rubies is obvious on the top plate.
Mounted on the largest wheel is a 6mm natural almandine Garnet from Ceylon. Deepest red and softly glowing, it is very alluring.
This necklace is unique - designed and created in New Zealand by ClosetGothic, it will be an amazing conversation starter wherever you go.

The chain is antiqued brass in a good quality brass in a 6 x 4mm link. ClosetGothic necklace chains are LONG - this one is 850mm - designed as 'opera length', perfect with long line tops and knitwear.
