Dressed in soft, worn terracotta-brown leather, my reclaimed leather coat has a sumptuous, floppy feel.
Open me up, and you’ll find I begin & end with hand-marbled paper in red & fawn hues. In between, I am filled with 120 sheets (240 pages counting both sides) of 140gsm acid-free drawing & sketching paper made in Germany by Hahnemühle.
In natural white, this smooth paper is suitable for all drawing techniques, including pencil, charcoal, pen & ink. It will tolerate light washes without bleeding & has good eraser resistance.
Hand-torn, my beautiful pages have been stitched directly into my coat with dark brown linen thread, allowing me to lay flat for complete page accessibility and writing ease.
When not in use, I’ll protect your creations with my long leather wrap tie which has been adorned with a delicious mix of dark teal and metal beads.
Measuring 3 x 4 ¼ inches with a 1 ¾ inch-thick spine, I’m sweet little journal perfect for urban or country travel.
