Little Apples Zip Purse

Useful for so many things, a women can never have enough zipper purses....well, I don't think so. What can this be used for? Not that I want to stem your creativity on the matter, but it could be great for:
a, Makeup - I checked and it fits my longest brush and mascara A-OK
b, Essentials - phone, keys, card, cash;
c, On the go crafting magic - I've hinted at Amuguri; or
d, Your pens and pencils.

My version is flat bottomed and generously propotioned, so its easy to see to the bottom and get stuff in and out. I have improved my pattern, making this slightly longer so it will not accomodate writing implements with ease. Meaurements are:

20cm long, 12cm tall and 6.5cm wide at the widest point (the bottom)

The exterior is made up of a warm stone coloured upholstery weight cotton with a shabby chic butterfly motif. The lining is a coordinating dark and light red quilter's cotton. Its fully washable.

As an added functional feature (and to give them a extra somethin somethin) a fine ribbon has been secured through the zip slider to allow you to loop this over your wrist.

I have two in this beautiful linen/cotton printed with tiny little red apples. The interior is lined with 100% cotton featuring a contemporary print in fresh green and white.

I've been on a bit of a purse making bender recently - have a wee look through my shop for more examples of my work. Each purse is unique and individual - even where it appears that I have used the same fabric, I have 'fussy cut' to show of differing motifs in the fabric and selected a different lining. In fact, I probably spent as much time playing with colour combinations of linings and outers as I did sewing them up!
