Paua & Silver earrings~ blue/green

I have shaped & polished paua shell into these lovely blue/green drops and then wrapped them in silver plated wire. Finished with a sweet little koru. These are a nice size for everyday wear.
The earring hooks are hypo-allergenic stainless steel so they are safe for sensitive ears.

The Paua shell is gathered from Kaikoura near where i live. The vibrant colours & pearly sheen is all natural with blue/green and purple colours. I cut all pieces with hand tools taking care of the shell and no chemical laquers or resins are used, or needed. Polished by hand for a smooth shine.

Measurement is 5.4cm long from the top of the earring hook.
They sit beautifully ,hanging forward & slightly outwards to catch the light. The backs are natural shell, polished.

Earrings will arrive in a lovely organza gift bag ready for giving or treating yourself.

I use NZ Parcel post which usually takes 2-3 days to arrive within NZ. Items are covered by insurance if you choose the tracked postage option for NZ, but not with the standard post. Overseas parcels are insured and can take 2 weeks to arrive. I take care to wrap all parcels safely.
